Carol is a Group Board Director and General Counsel at The Texel Group – an award-winning specialist credit and political risk insurance broker. With access to Lloyd’s of London and public and private insurers around the world, Texel develops innovative insurance solutions for financial and development finance institutions, corporations and commodity traders.

With over 30 years’ experience, in both London and South Africa, Carol joined The Texel Group in 2015 having previously been a Partner at a London based law firm where she was responsible for the political risk and trade credit insurance group. She handled claims from multiple jurisdictions under a variety of political risk and credit policies and regularly advised on coverage issues and policy wordings.
