Harsha Mehta

EMEA Trade Risk Distribution, Citi,

Harsha currently works as an EMEA Trade Risk Distribution specialist in Citibank based in London where she looks after FI secondary market participations for the EMEA and LatAM region. She is also responsible to manage Trade Finance Fund which is an investment fund that Citi uses to diversify their portfolio of investors.

Harsha was recently shortlisted for the ITFA Emerging Trade Financier 2022 Award for writing a paper on ‘The importance of 2 E’s in Trade Finance’ following which she became part of the FEX (Future of Export finance) working group.

Before joining Citibank, she was part of the Risk distribution team in Barclays and also looked after their short term ECA business. Harsha has an MBA in Finance and Marketing and finds her passion in contemporary western forms of dance.
